Draft document

This page is a working draft prepared for legal review. It is not yet the final policy and must not be relied upon until approved.

1. Who we are

This website, tedopsai.com, is operated by TED OPS AI LIMITED ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17486570, whose registered office is at Unit 4d, Trident Business Centre, Amy Johnson Way, Blackpool, United Kingdom, FY4 2RP. TED OPS AI LIMITED is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

You can contact us about privacy at any time at enquires@tedopsai.com or by phone on 07828 725424.

2. What this website does

This is a marketing and information website with a contact/enquiry form. It has no account registration, newsletter sign-ups or e-commerce checkout. You can browse it without giving us any personal information.

3. The personal data we process

  • Enquiry details. If you contact us — through our contact form or by email — we receive your name, work email address, company, role and the contents of your message (the form also optionally collects team size and your main operational challenge). Form submissions are stored securely in our website database. We use this only to respond to and manage your enquiry, and we never add you to a marketing list without separate consent.
  • Analytics data — only with your consent. If you accept optional cookies, we use PostHog analytics to understand how the site is used. This involves a pseudonymous visitor identifier, pages visited, interactions such as clicks and scrolling, browser and device information, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Session replay is disabled. If you reject optional cookies, no analytics data is collected at all.
  • Consent records. When you make a cookie choice we store a record containing a pseudonymous consent identifier, your choice, the consent version and the date/time, so we can demonstrate that consent was obtained.
  • Technical and security data. Our hosting and security providers process your IP address and request metadata (such as pages requested and timestamps) to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and keep it secure.

We do not collect special-category data, we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making about you, and we do not sell or share personal data with advertisers.

4. Lawful bases (UK GDPR)

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — optional analytics, which never start before you accept, and stop immediately if you withdraw.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — responding to enquiries you send us, and operating and securing the website.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — keeping records of cookie consent decisions.

5. Who processes data on our behalf

  • Emergent Labs — website hosting and analytics infrastructure.
  • Cloudflare — content delivery and security (bot protection).
  • PostHog — website analytics, only after you consent.

Integration names shown on this website (for example accounting, messaging or commerce tools) are illustrative of the product's planned capabilities — no data is shared with those services by this website.

6. International transfers

Our hosting and analytics providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States and India. We are putting in place the appropriate transfer safeguards (such as the UK IDTA or the UK Addendum to EU SCCs) with these providers; details will be confirmed here once the relevant agreements are finalised. [To be completed before publication.]

7. How long we keep data

  • Enquiry details (form or email) — kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.
  • Consent records — kept for the duration that consent evidence is required, then deleted.
  • Analytics data — retained according to our analytics provider's settings [retention period to be confirmed with the provider and inserted before publication].

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • request deletion of your data;
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • data portability, where applicable;
  • withdraw consent at any time — for analytics this is instant via (in the footer of every page), which stops optional tracking and clears optional cookies and storage;
  • complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, email enquires@tedopsai.com. We respond within one month.

9. Security

This site is served over HTTPS with HSTS, optional tracking is gated behind consent, and access to the underlying systems is restricted to platform operators. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we apply proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we process.

10. Children

This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version and date at the top of this page show the current revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.

We value your privacy

We use strictly necessary storage to make this site work. With your consent we also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can accept, reject or customise optional cookies — and change your mind at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer. See our Cookie Policy.
